Michael Lowry

Qualifying in May 1983, Michael was a specialist family lawyer and qualified and practised in London before moving to Cornwall. During his time working in London, Michael was articled to the late John Cornwell at the time he was involved in establishing the Solicitors Family Law Association (renamed Resolution in 2005).
With wide experience in all aspects of family law, Michael specialised in the distribution of financial assets on divorce. He had considerable expertise in complex cases involving farms and businesses, as well as inheritance claims. Michael was a member of the firm’s Management Board and the Law Society’s Family Law and Children Panels. He was also a Resolution (formerly the Solicitor’s Family Law Association) accredited specialist.
Outside of work and now retired from Stephens Scown, Michael continues to enjoy shooting and fishing.
