David Cameron has announced there will be changes made to the way in which educational institutes are granted Highly Trusted Sponsor Status from November this year. An educational institute will no longer be able to sponsor a Tier 4 Student without Highly Trusted Sponsor Status.
At present if 20% or more of the students they offer places to are refused they will not be granted Highly Trusted Sponsor Status however as of November, this will be reduced to 10% meaning that there will no doubt be less educational institutions who are able to sponsor overseas students.
