There are learnings to share in minimising the risk and maximising the protection of the value of a brand.
With the publication of the Employment Rights Bill paving the way for “once in a generation changes” in employment law with the arrival of several new ‘day 1 rights’, including unfair dismissal protection, payment of Statutory Sick Pay, eligibility for paternity and parental leave and flexible working becoming the default, there is a lot for employers to be getting on top of. Added to this, we’ve had recent legislation on the distribution of tips and a positive obligation to prevent sexual harassment. Chris Morse speaks on how employers should best navigate this changing landscape.
