With a stellar career spanning more than 30 years, Ann Thomas is a specialist in international cases, especially those in relation to children. She’ll be bringing that expertise to leading South West law firm Stephens Scown’s award-winning Family team as a Consultant.

Ann will be joining the Firm to expand its International Family Law team bringing her renowned expertise to one of the leading family teams in the South West.

Ann features in the prestigious Legal 500 guide as, “an exceptional individual” and is looking forward to starting her consultancy role with us. She says: “Having relocated to the South West, this is an exciting opportunity to work with an outstanding legal firm and to share my knowledge and experience.

Recognised as an expert in her field, she has given lectures across the globe on topics including handling the media in high profile cases, international child relocation, and training family law judges and family law practitioners on aspects of international family law, international relocation of children and child abduction.
