Andrew Lobb

Andrew was a senior associate in our family team in Cornwall before his retirement in 2024. If you are a client of Andrew or have been referred to him, please contact Mark Smith.

Qualifying in October 1991, Andrew joined Stephens Scown in 2010 and specialised in child law and represented children, parents, or extended family members in court proceedings before the Family Court involving Social Services and Child Protection cases. Undertaking his own advocacy in most cases.

Examples of Andrew’s work included:

• Acting for a young person in care proceedings and ensuring they are kept safe
• Acting for a young parent to ensure their child remained in their care
• Acting for a grandparent to enable their grandchild to live with them and not be adopted.

Outside of work and now retired from Stephens Scown, Andrew enjoys gardening, walking, rugby and watching live music.
