Toby is a partner and head of Dispute Resolution in Cornwall and qualified as a Solicitor in December 1992 after gaining a Geology Degree from London University and joined Stephens Scown in September 2015.

As team leader Toby is committed to developing the specialist Dispute Resolution teams at Stephens Scown being:

• Commercial Litigation
• Construction Litigation
• Debt Recovery
• Inheritance & Trust Disputes
• Property Litigation.

Toby acts for businesses and individuals and deals with a variety of commercial and corporate disputes including shareholder and partners disputes, professional negligence, financial and property claims.

Toby particularly supports the Charity, Marine and Healthcare sectors having recently acted on a number of matters in these areas.

Toby is also a practising mediator having trained with the ADR Group in 2001.

Outside of work Toby is a supporter of the charity ShelterBox having been on deployment as a response team member on a number of occasions. Toby is also a keen sailor and walker.
