Catherine is a New Homes Manager and conveyancer within the Real Estate Development team. She acts for a large base of both local and national developer clients in all aspects of development work.

Catherine joined Stephens Scown in 2005 as a paralegal, and is now an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Her day to day work includes:

• Working with clients to set up new development including; negotiating road and sewer agreements, drafting estate contracts, transfers and leases and liaising and obtaining approval of the plans and set-up of management companies prior to commencement of sales
• Dealing with the sales of plots on each development and taking in part-exchange properties in some cases
• Obtaining deeds of variations to historic agreements in need of amendment
• Working with the directors of development management companies to arrange the handover of control to the plot owners upon completion of the development.

Catherine is married with three young children so life is very busy, but they enjoy travelling together as much as possible. She loves cooking, and also likes to curl up with a good book, when she has five minutes to spare!
