Charlotte is a solicitor in the Planning team. Her role consists of supporting senior legal advisors on a wide range of planning work which includes:
- Planning applications, enforcement, and appeals
- Negotiating and completing Section 106 agreements and deeds of modification for developers, registered providers and landowners
- Drafting and negotiating sectional agreements required for development such as S38s, S278s and S104s
- Obtaining certificates of lawfulness
- Advising on permitted development rights
- Judicial Reviews.
Charlotte joined Stephens Scown as a paralegal in 2021 and is based in the firm’s Truro office.
She has a Law degree from the University of Sussex and achieved a Distinction in the LPC (LLM) from the University of Law in 2022.
She has previous experience in Family, Employment, Intellectual Property, and Data Protection matters.
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys wild swimming and paddleboarding.
