Christine joined Stephens Scown in September 2024 as a trainee solicitor, upon completion of her LPC and LLM with double distinctions, working as part of the Dispute Resolution team’s specialist Construction subsector.
Her work includes:
- Contract reviews and amendments
- Pre-litigation and legal drafting
- Court bundles preparation and legal procedural matters including court hearings
- General legal research with focus on construction contracts and dispute resolution
She has also spent time on an overseas work placement in Hong Kong in the banking department as part of a cross-border investment project and on pro bono case work.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys playing the piano with attainment of grade 8. With training in choral conducting and vocal technique, Christine served different communities through her music and has joined Stephens Scown’s choir.
Christine also volunteers, having started an award-winning charity project at the University of Exeter for period poverty, and participating in the University of Law’s pro-bono scheme.
