Eliot is a solicitor in the Corporate Team, joining Stephens Scown in 2021 and qualifying as a solicitor in March 2024.
He attended Cardiff University where he obtained a First Class Honours in his LLB Law Degree and a Distinction on the LPC-LLM course.
Eliot advises on a range of corporate, governance, and commercial matters including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate governance, restructuring and procurement
- Commercial contracts and terms and conditions
- Business ownership disputes and exit strategies.
Some of his recent work includes:
- Assisting with the implementation of an Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) scheme
- Advising on and drafting general terms of business in a range of sectors
- Supporting charities on a number of charity law issues including restructuring advice.
Eliot is an active member of the charity sector and provides advice to a wide range of charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Outside of work Eliot is a keen surfer and loves exploring the hidden beaches of Cornwall. Eliot also enjoys kayaking and hiking.
