Emily is a solicitor in the Inheritance and Trust Disputes team at Stephens Scown and has worked for the firm since 2021.
Emily has experience in disputes relating to Wills; executor and trustee disputes; proprietary estoppel claims; challenges to estates under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; and claims relating to property following the breakdown of non-marital relationships including applications for orders for sale.
Emily also acts for unmarried clients who are looking to protect their assets or wealth through drafting cohabitation agreements and declarations of trust.
Prior to joining Stephens Scown, Emily graduated from Durham University having studied Law. She also completed the LPC with LLM at the University of Law, gaining a distinction.
Outside of work Emily enjoys reading, baking, and travelling.
