Esme joined Stephens Scown in December 2023, working as a paralegal in the Commercial Dispute Resolution (CDR) team.

As part of CDR’s specialist DebtLink subsector, her responsibilities include:

• Sending out letters before action to recover debt.
• Negotiating with debtors.
• Setting up payment plans to process the debt.
• Issuing claims with the County Court.
• Requesting judgment and enforcing judgment if required.

Graduating from the University of Bristol in 2021 with a First-Class law degree, Esme spent time working as a legal team assistant prior to joining Stephens Scown.

Outside of work, Esme goes swimming multiple times a week, as well as taking part in aerial hoop classes.
