George joined Stephens Scown in September 2024, working as a solicitor in the Real Estate team’s Commercial Real Estate subsector.

Qualifying in 2023, he specialises in the following areas:

• Commercial Property – landlord and tenant
• Business sales and acquisitions
• Real estate finance

Examples of his recent work includes:

• Assisted a local business on the acquisition of a restaurant and café.
• Advised a local authority on their units let out to local businesses.
• Advised a pet nutrition start-up on a business loan secured against property and other business assets.

Studying History and Politics at Reading University, George obtained his GDL and LPC after two years with the University of Law.

Outside of work, George is a cricket lover, and member of Ashburton CC. He also plays in a band, gigging in pubs and at functions across south Devon.
