Helen Thomas is a senior associate in our Property Litigation team and is based in our Truro office.

Helen qualified as a solicitor in February 1996 after gaining a law degree (LLB) from Brunel University and joined Stephens Scown in September 2018.

Helen acts for residential and commercial property clients in all types of disputes with a particular specialism in residential tenancies in both the private and social sector.

Helen has worked in tenancy related matters for 15 years, representing private and public sector landlords and tenants, dealing with all aspects of the work from first instructions to negotiating settlements and conducting trials. Her work includes possession, injunctions, disrepair and unlawful eviction.

Helen also deals with all areas of land law including boundary disputes, restrictive covenants and adverse possession.

Outside of work Helen is a member of a local running club and also enjoys swimming and cycling.
