Having progressed in her early career at Stephens Scown from trainee to Associate between 2003 and 2011, Helen rejoined the Firm in February 2025 as a Partner in the Property Litigation team.
With a wealth of expertise in all aspects of commercial property and rural sector disputes, she is a specialist in advising on:
- Property restrictive covenants
- Easements
- Dilapidations
- Boundaries
- Title insurance litigation
- Actual or contemplated landlord and tenant litigation.
Qualifying in 2005, Helen is a member of the Property Litigation Association and some examples of her various cases includes:
- Acting for a national retailer managing their nationwide property lease renewals.
- Advising on complicated easements and boundary issues in the context of rural property.
- Negotiating the release of restrictive covenants to unlock a housing development opportunity for clients.
- Acting for a national title insurer and their insured clients resolving high value rights of light disputes arising from developments in central London.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys tennis – playing competitively in the Yeovil & Districts leagues, plays golf and padel, spends time on the water in the Fal Estuary sailing, paddleboarding, and pub trips on her RIB.
