James joined Stephens Scown in September 2024, working as a paralegal in the Employment team.

He worked for a year in The Plymouth University Employment Law Clinic and graduated in 2024. James is working on a range of matters for the employment team, including;

• Zero-hour contracts;
• Policy reviews; and
• Litigation matters

Outside of work, James plays and coaches lacrosse. He played for an England national academy, and coaches regional and national academies for up-and-coming women players. He also spends time at the gym, plays golf, and enjoys a game of chess.
