Janet has been with the firm since January 2001 and works within the Private Client team in our Truro office.

Janet’s work now mainly comprises obtaining Grants of Probate and dealing with the administration of estates from start to finish.

However, in the past, Janet has experience in dealing with the following areas of Private Client work:

• Preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Making Deputyship Applications and assisting Deputies and Attorneys in relation to donor’s financial affairs
• Working with clients making plans for care fees and continuing health care issues
• Assisting colleagues with the administration of ongoing Trusts.

Janet gained a Central Law Training (CLT) Specialist Paralegal Diploma in Wills and Probate Practice in May 2000.

Outside of work, Janet particularly enjoys long walks with her dog enjoying the countryside, spinning and sailing.
