Meesha is a solicitor in the Family team specialising in divorce and the resolution of finances.

Meesha joined Stephens Scown in 2021 and completed her training contract with the firm, qualifying as a solicitor in October 2023. Prior to this, Meesha spent over two years working in-house in the public sector. She graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Law in 2017 and completed the LPC LLM with distinction from the University of Law.

Meesha advises clients on divorce across a wide range of financial issues, including:

• The divorce process.
• Negotiating financial settlements to achieve a fair division of the parties’ finances
• Contested financial remedy proceedings.
• Supporting clients behind the scenes whilst they utilise alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation or arbitration.
• Enforcement of financial orders; and
• Child maintenance.

Outside of work Meesha enjoys baking, Latin and ballroom dancing and walking her dog.
