Victoria is a senior associate solicitor, in our Real Estate team, in Truro and joined Stephens Scown in February 2014.
Victoria advises private individuals, corporate entities, executors and trustees on buying, selling, leasing and charging commercial and residential property (including buy to lets).
Victoria is experienced at dealing with more complicated aspects of conveyancing, including the split of titles, and unregistered land.
Victoria also acts for mortgage lenders in respect of re-mortgages and acts for borrowers in respect of equity release schemes and bridging finance arrangements.
Victoria provides real estate advice to other departments within our firm, and works closely with our Private Client, Family, Dispute Resolution and Corporate/Commercial teams.
Victoria also provides an internal conveyancing training course for the firm’s paralegals and trainee solicitors.
Victoria qualified as a solicitor in April 2006, after gaining a Law LLB Honours Degree from the Nottingham Trent University in 2001 and completing the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in 2002.
Victoria has two young children, and is passionate in reducing the consumption of single use plastic, away from work she regularly attends beach cleans, and is a member of a plastic free volunteer group.
