Lizzie Smith is the latest partner to join Stephens Scown, the employee-owned and B Corp™ Certified law firm that has built a reputation on going above and beyond for its clients and in supporting the communities in which it operates.
She will be joining Stephens Scown’s Family team, which is the largest in the South West and the only Family Law team top-ranked in both Devon and Cornwall in the Chambers and Legal 500 guides.
With over a decade of experience in the financial aspects of relationship breakdown, Lizzie advises on divorce and financial settlements, financial support for children or following a foreign divorce, enforcement issues, and freezing injunctions. She also supports clients with non-molestation and occupation orders, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, arrangements for children and relocation applications.

Lizzie is also trained in Collaborative Law, an alternative method of dispute resolution.
The family team, which is a finalist in the Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards, are being further bolstered with the addition of three newly qualified solicitors who came through the firm’s trainee scheme; Tyler Richards, Meesha Ghovanloupoor, and Alexandra Pitts, all of whom are ready to make their own mark within the specialist sector.
