Concept for - Stephens Scown’s culture recognised in national awards

In the latest example of South West law firm Stephens Scown’s culture being recognised on the national stage, the firm has been revealed as a finalist in the City AM Dragon Awards. The prestigious awards recognise businesses and organisations from across the UK that demonstrate a commitment to social responsibility and community impact.

Showcasing best practices and inspiring other companies to engage in meaningful community work, the employee-owned law firm, Stephens Scown, has been shortlisted in the category of Inclusive Workplace & Employee Wellbeing and is one of only four businesses in this category.

Stephens Scown’s shortlisting reflects its place on the national stage as an organisation that is proud to be focused on delivering real benefit to their employees’ wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I), culture, and working environment.

The awards are targeted at organisations and individuals demonstrating a commitment to the UK’s sustainability, social responsibility, environmental, social impact and governance, financial inclusion, financial literacy, circular economy and impact.

Speaking on the firm’s selection Christian May, Editor in Chief of City AM said, “we had nearly 200 submissions, ranging from large private business and FTSE listed firms to start-ups and social enterprises. The calibre was extremely high across all categories. There are only four nominees on the shortlist for each category, so you really have done well to get this far.”

With the awards held on the 18 November, it promises to be a great night for everyone involved.
