The Role

  • We are looking for an administrator to join our busy HR team. This is a full time, permanent role, and we are looking for a New Year start. We will be holding interviews in January.
  • The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager, and will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the team.
  • This is a very broad role, which will encompass all aspects of administration across the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to, data input, running reports, analysing and presenting data, providing figures, keeping accurate records, managing administrative projects, compliance and regulatory tasks. You will also deal with people enquiries, signposting where needed.

About You

  • You will already be an administrator who has the ability to provide fast, accurate, administrative support to a busy team.
  • You will have a full and active workload, so you will need to be able to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure, be proactive and take initiative, be flexible and adaptable in your approach, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key to this role is confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • As this is a multi-tasking role, you will need excellent organisational and time management skills, alongside problem solving and decision making abilities. You will also need to be confident in your approach as you will be liaising with colleagues across the business and key stakeholders.
  • You will be highly proficient in all aspects of IT, particularly Excel. Ideally you will also have experience of using an HRIS and other Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint and PowerBI, however this is not essential.
  • Knowledge of AI and automation to support HR processes would be an advantage.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years recent experience working as an administrator. Previous experience of working in an HR team is desirable but not essential.
  • You will have worked in professional services, ideally in a law firm.
